The series is based on microscopic videos created from a selection of garments donated to the RISD Museum by Mark Pollack. This collection is comprised primarily of contemporary fashion produced since 2016. The project was a collaboration with the Costume and Textiles Curator Kate Irvin and Dept Head and Associate Professor in Design Apparel, Lisa Morgan, whose photographs were also part of the exhibition.
